Futureworlder,aka Brian Traister, is a Brooklyn-based producer and DJ. A longtime denizen of the New York City Underground, Brian has been actively and deeply involved with the underground electronic music scene in the US for over 2 decades. His love of electronic music began at an early age while attempting to emulate R2-D2 with his first “synthesizer”, a Remco SoundFX Machine, and from being exposed to disco while watching Solid Gold on Channel 11. An autodidact by nature, his production style follows suit with his style of DJ’ing and he is known for his often otherworldly genre-crossing sets. His output for the dance floor is balanced out by his love of Ambient music, oftentimes combining the two in his works.
