Title track ‘Kurripinha’ sets the stage right out of the gate with a peak time dance floor filler. Big bottom end, energetic drums, twisted synth lines, and dubbed out vocals are the main foundations here. It’s one for the late night for the big crowded smokey rooms, cavernous warehouses, and huge sound stacks. ‘Don’t Tell Me’ follows up with equally as much energy but amps up the funk level a bit with warped vocals, a groovy bass line, and pristine percussion.
