In the 2010s, Nick’s musical path took a transformative turn as he embraced electronic dance music. After a decade of DJing and mixing experience, he has developed a distinctive sound that merges hypnotic soundscapes with dense production. His work effortlessly spans a wide array of genres, drawing inspiration from the atmospheric tones of the late 90s and early 2000s to create immersive and dynamic tracks.
Now, under the alias “Yes Kovatz,” he is known for delivering cohesive & captivating auditory experiences through his performances and productions. In 2023, Yes Kovatz performed at a variety of Brooklyn staples such as Elsewhere, Eris, Hellphone, and Wonderville. He has been featured in Newtown Radio and released a collaborative track under Distortion Records. He invites listeners to travel on sonic journeys through a variety of genres, and looks to continue to provide dynamic musical experiences.
