A new signing for 3Bridge, we proudly present LGR’s (aka Luis Miguel Ascencio) “In The Line EP”. These 2 tracks demonstrate his ability to precisely craft and create atmospheric minimal techno that would fit right into a DJ’s set at any point in the night or day.
The title track “In The Line” takes silky smooth pads and vocals while interweaving them with slick beats alongside exquisite sound design that flows throughout. The result is a subtle funky number, meant to be played loudly over a booming sound system where its scale can truly be shown.
“MTA Power” is a bit of a play on words as its locomotive rhythms and patterns echo that of a certain transit system local to the New York area. Strange noises filter in and out, steady drums and hi-hats propel it, all while abstract melodies dip in between all of this – very similar to taking a long subway ride, late at night.
Truly interesting stuff if we do say so ourselves. Get in between the lines with this EP.
