A fresh face in NYC this past year, 2022 was quite a debut year for the west-coast transplant. Building on over a decade of left coast residencies [The Endup, Nocturnal Code, The Regency Ballroom, Strategik] Cavalier honed and communicated his signature expressive, dance-forward house sound to happy crowds in London, San Francisco, New York City, Los Angeles and Miami. No stranger to adventure, 2022 saw Cavalier play new venues and festivals like The Knockdown Center, House of Yes, Love Burn as well as more intimate venues like TBA Brooklyn, Eris, beyond. The peak moment (of self-actualization) was a soul-quenching resident DJ set for Bubbles & Bass at Burning Man on Friday morning just before N2N and David Hohme. The San Francisco native is onto something special, and is here to stay in NYC. Catch him in bloom, dreaming with an open heart, an applied mind, and a desire to keep the floor moving to the celebratory sounds of life. Having played clubs, festivals and undergrounds from coast-to-coast and internationally, CAVALIER consistently presents audiences a selection of compelling tracks guided by intelligent design.
