3Bridge Records welcomes another new signing, the duo of Gianni Ruocco and Le Roi Carmona. We’re honored to be putting out a great new single by them with a remix by label head, Eric Shans.
The original mix demonstrates some serious production techniques and grooves. Echoed synth riffs and sequences play off the precise percussion that shuffles and shakes. Interestingly, there’s beauty underneath the grit and darkness; visions of subtle sunny melodies jabbing holes in the top of a dilapidated chapel to let the sunlight, while bodies dance and sway beneath it. At the heart of it though, there lies a great tech house track guaranteed to get people moving.
The ‘Eric Shans Royal Crown Remix’ takes a more straightforward approach but it’s no less captivating. Building a track around one of the main melodies of the original, Shans flips it into a dreamy, steady builder. It’s almost as if the remix is up in the clouds, while the original sits below it as they gaze at each other from afar. Two bass lines play off of each other while choirs, pads, and other elements create a razor sharp amalgam of patterns.
