3Bridge Records is proud to present the 2nd release of 2015 from Eric Shans, the single “Mirror”. In contrast to some of the material on his previous EP this year on 3Bridge, this track takes a tougher tech house approach guaranteed to get people moving. Replete with rugged bass lines, effected vocals, and punchy percussion, it’s meant for later in the night when people are ready to groove. Within the rawness though, there’s a sense of playful warmth and melody that grab and hook the listener in.
Pete Schwinge, who has remixed a number of tracks for Eric on 3Bridge, takes an epic, night time, widescreen approach to the track. In this mix, his talented penchant for creating layers and walls of sound, on top of driving percussive beats is showcased as he transforms the song into a behemoth of sound design and production. It’s the soundtrack to a figurative hall of twisted mirrors where your mind and body will roam.
